Maison Louis Latour
Family-owned and family-run for over two centuries, Maison Louis Latour is one of the most recognisable and sought-after names in Burgundy.
Founded in 1797, Maison Louis Latour is one of Bourgogne’s most respected names, blending tradition and innovation, and celebrated for its commitment to excellence and sustainability. Its portfolio includes wines ranging from the well-known Mâcon-Lugny and crus from Louis Latour’s properties in the Beaujolais, to the iconic Grand Crus Château Corton Grancey and Corton-Charlemagne. Family-owned and family-run, Maison Louis Latour is led today by Florent Latour, alongside his niece Eléonore Latour, representing the 11th and 12th generations. With a dedicated and expert team of wine professionals in Beaune, the heart of the Burgundy region, they are furthering Maison Louis Latour’s remarkable heritage and visionary spirit and promoting the fine wines of Bourgogne.
Operating with consummate respect for the land and their diverse terroirs, eschewing chemical fertilisers, embracing organic practices and turning to old, traditional methods such as horse-ploughing to avoid soil compaction, Maison Louis Latour is able to treat each individual vineyard and wine with the care that Bourgogne’s elegant style demands, whilst pulling out the idiosyncrasies in each vineyard that make the region so endlessly fascinating. Their exceptional domaine covers 50 hectares and includes the largest collection of Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte d'Or.
