Since 1811 the Blandy family have been synonymous with the best Madeira wines. In 2011, 7th generation family member, Chris Blandy, acquired full ownership of the Madeira Wine Company, an organisation of Madeira producers of which it had been a member since the 1920s.
Today the Madeira Wine Company is comprised of the islands leading house, Blandy’s, as well as It’s oldest house, Cossart Gordon, which was founded in 1745. The company also has Miles and Leacock’s within its portfolio. This undoubtedly makes Fells the UK’s leading Madeira specialist.
