Fells’ Italian Portfolio scales the heights with the addition of Tenuta Pfitscher.

The Fells calendar continues its busy start in 2026 as from 1st March, Alto Adige’s Tenuta Pfitscher joins their growing Italian Portfolio. A family winery since 1861, Tenuta Pfitscher fits in perfectly with the Fells commitment to family-owned producers and having led the region’s quality renaissance since the 1960s, they’re a glittering addition to an already premium Italian offering. ‘We’re delighted to welcome Pfitscher to the growing Fells family,’ said Euan Mackay, Managing Director of Fells. ‘Our Italian producers are, without exception, pioneers of quality in their regions, and Pfitscher’s track record of excellence in Alto Adige maintains that high standard.’

Tending six distinct vineyard areas within the region’s dizzyingly steep Alpine slopes, Tenuta Pfitscher’s wines are noted for their pristine freshness and sensitivity of expression. The winery is now overseen by the sixth and seventh generations of the family, including Klaus Pfitscher, who spearheaded their movement towards premium wines forty years ago.

‘Fells’ unique connection to family-owned producers made them a natural partner for us as we take our next steps in the important UK market,’ said Daniel Pfitscher, CEO.

Tenuta Pfitscher will formally join the Fells Portfolio from 1st March with wines available from that date. Fells will be responsible for exclusive distribution of Tenuta Pfitscher wines in the UK (excluding Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands).

‘Joining Fells represents a new chapter in the 160-year history of our winery,’ added Daniel. ‘We believe our wines tell a story of who we are and where we make them, and we’re looking forward to sharing them with Fells’ customers.’
