The Vat 8 Shiraz Cabernet is sourced from Shiraz grown on Tyrrell’s Ashmans property and Cabernet Sauvignon grown on the Pokolbin Hills Estate. This is a modern style of Australian red that also respects the tradition of using varietal blending to create a more rounded wine. The Shiraz brings intense plum fruit sweetness and dark berry and chocolate characters, while the addition of a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon adds length and body.
