Our Community

It’s our belief that a friendly, convivial atmosphere creates a happy workplace where people enjoy what they do. We have therefore focused our efforts on creating an office setting which is conducive to employee contentment and wellbeing.

When we moved to our new Kings Langley offices, for example, we had them specifically designed to include a break-out area where employees could eat and relax away from their desks. The breakout area is fully equipped with fridges, microwaves, and comfortable seating, as well as a TV, and games facilities.

We also have our own sheltered gardens at the rear of the offices where we have several raised beds for growing salads and vegetables, a flower bed, and outdoor seating with a parasol for the warmer weather months.

We get together as a team as often as we can and have regular organised get-togethers such as our Chill-Fest Day in July to which all Fells employees and their families are invited.

Many of our employees are also engaged with organisations within the community and support other causes which are close to their hearts.

The Hospice of St Francis

In July of this year Fells, which has been a long-term supporter of the hospice, reinforced its commitment to support the charity when it became a Gold Corporate Network Partner.

As part of this commitment Fells will support many of the charity’s fund-raising activities.  It has already donated a 3L bottle of Graham’s 10yo Tawny Port as a prize for the charity’s raffle in November and is currently seeking volunteers from its staff to take place in their upcoming sky diving and mud challenge events.

ChilFest 2024

Friday 5th July saw Fells hosting a get together for the company’s employees and their families at this year’s Chilfest Festival in Tring.

This is the first time the company has attended the festival, and, despite the somewhat variable weather conditions, it proved to be a great success with over 80 members of staff and their families enjoying the music, together with a wide selection of festival foods and a plentiful supply of Wiston Estate Blanc de Blanc and Blå Copenhagen Sparkling Tea.
