Another Trophy for Henriot
Tuesday 12 November saw leading Champagne House, Henriot, taking the Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year Trophy for 2024 at the IWSC awards dinner.
This incredible achievement is particularly gratifying for Henriot as it comes on the back of several other notable awards including the Blanc de Blanc Trophy at the Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships in September where Henriot also won 4 gold medals for its Blanc de Blanc NV, L’Inattendu 2016, Brut Souverain NV and Rosé NV.
Earlier in the year, it also won three gold medals in the IWSC competition for its Blanc de Blancs which received 95/100 points, Millésime 2014 which received 96/100 points, and Cuvee Hemera 2013 which also received 96/100 points.
Historically, owned and managed by eight generations of the Henriot family since 1808, Henriot remains a prestigious Maison. Today it is recognised as a Chardonnay specialist, ageing its champagnes to achieve consistency and excellence.
