Wiston Estate, The Twenty Six, 75cl, 2020

A first for Wiston Estate – a still Pinot Noir made from the first twenty-six rows of Pinot Noir vines in the original vineyard. A true labour of love, the grapes were crushed by foot and during cool fermentation were punched down by hand twice a day for two weeks. The wine is beautifully fragrant with layers of vibrant cherries, red roses, cocoa and underlying note of smoky tobacco leaf. Velvety smooth and utterly moreish, it is a wine to savour.
