Vilafonté, Series ‘M’, 75cl, 2019
A coming together of great wine experience from California and South Africa. Series M takes its name from the Malbec and Merlot which define the style of this wine. A wine that is sensuous with a firm core structure for aging. A deep ruby colour with an inky purple rim. Aromatics showing opulence and youthful tension. Complex layers of pomegranate, Boysenberry and black cherry lead to baking spice, fresh pastry and a peppery base note of teak wood shavings. Fleshy, yet soft texture.
