Every morning in the Maule Valley, the sun rises over the Andes beginning a ritual that unites land and vine. These rainfed vineyards within the coastal range hold some of the oldest Carignan vines in the world, many of them dating back more than 80 years. This variety, rescued from oblivion, is undoubtedly one of Chile’s great treasures.
