Miguel Torres Chile, Conde de Superunda, 75cl, 2013
The name Superunda refers to the action of a Spanish nobleman during the tragic tsunami in El Callao, Lima, in 1746. Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Tempranillo and Monastrell form the basis of the wine, which is aged for 22 months in new Nevers oak barrels. Voluptuous on the palate, fine acidity, and fruit notes that combine with pleasant texture.
