Ratti, Barolo DOCG Conca, 75cl, 2017
The small Conca vineyard sits at the heart of the Abbey of Annunziata, an ancient abbey erected during the Roman era. As one of the oldest sub zones of the entire Barolo district, it was first appreciated by the Benedictine monks from the XIIcentury when they produced a wine named Nebiolium. A persistent bouquet with traces of liquorice, mint and Lebanese cedar pine. Suitable for ageing.
