Vasse Felix Latest Vintages
September sees the launch of the latest vintages from Vasse Felix, Margaret River’s founding wine estate.
As the founding wine estate (1967) of the Margaret River region, in the furthermost southwestern corner of Australia, there are many things that make Vasse Felix the special place it is. The incredible environment and climate of Margaret River, the family ownership, the treasured history and priceless vineyards. But above all, it’s the dedication of the entire team to continue founder Dr Cullity’s original aim for Vasse Felix: “to make the best possible wine.”
The focus of this year’s release is four of the estate’s top wines; The Vasse Felix 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, the Vasse Felix Tom Cullity 2020, the Heytesbury Chardonnay 2022 and the Vasse Felix Chardonnay 2022.
Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
The release of the 2021 vintage marks 50 years of Margaret River Cabernet. Made at Vasse Felix every year since 1972, each vintage of this historic Cabernet Sauvignon, embodies a faithful pursuit of excellence, purity and wine artistry. Vasse Felix Cabernet Sauvignon is an archetypal expression, possessing all the hallmarks of the finest Margaret River Cabernet; elegance, power and age-ability. A timeless original that has graced the world’s top tables for five decades.

When Dr Thomas Brendan Cullity founded Vasse Felix in 1967, some of his first plantings were Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec vines, from which he produced the estate’s first red wine.
