Torres Natureo takes Top Honours

Natureo, the de-alcoholised wine brand from Torres, has been named the “Best Drinks Range” at the 2025 World Alcohol-Free Awards (WAFA).

This prestigious international competition, which was recently held in the UK, saw 600 entries from 31 different countries from which Natureo was selected for its consistently high-quality across the entire the range.

The Natureo range includes Muscat white, Chardonnay white, rosé, red, sparkling white, and sparkling rosé. The judging panel awarded gold medals to both rosés. Natureo Rosé 2024 impressed the judges with its “utterly delightful bouquet, offering inviting aromas of red berries, melon, and peach, and a palate that is perfectly balanced, flowing smoothly through fruity sweetness to a fresh finish.” Natureo Sparkling Rosé 2024 was praised for its “aromas reminiscent of a summer dessert, with bubbles that enhance the softness of its raspberry jam notes.”

Commenting on the results, Chris Losh, Competition Director, commented: “This is the most challenging trophy to win, as it requires both reliability and scale. The Natureo range, comprising six medal-winning products, stands as a truly comprehensive and coherent collection of alcohol-free wines. Natureo has delivered outstanding results and exceptional consistency, placing it firmly at the top.”

In addition to the accolade bestowed upon Natureo, Torres were also delighted to see all their Alcohol-free rosé wines winning a gold medal, including Natureo Rosé, Sangre de Toro 0.0 Rosé, and Viña Sol 0.0 Rosé, all of which were awarded gold medals.

The panel described Sangre de Toro 0.0 Rosé 2024 as having “juicy, approachable flavours of red fruits, red apple, and watermelon, with a dry, structured palate that makes for a fun and refreshing drink.” Viña Sol 0.0 Rosé 2024 was highlighted for its “summery notes of strawberry, raspberry, and melon, and a palate marked by pure fruit and lively acidity,” capturing the Mediterranean spirit that defines the winery’s most internationally renowned white wine.

These results further reinforce the credentials of Torres as an undisputed leader in this sector and build upon the results of the 2025 International Wines & Spirits Competition (IWSC) which saw Natureo Sparkling Rosé being award 94 points, Natureo Muscat 2024 being awarded 91 points and Natureo Chardonnay being awarded 91 points.
