The Most Admired Wine Brands 2025
Fells were delighted to see six of their world-leading, family-owned wineries featuring in this year’s Top 50 Most Admired Brands list, published by Drinks International on Friday 28 March.
One of the most notable names on this year’s list was leading Australian producer, Tyrrell’s, who proudly debuted as the highest-ranking new entry of 2025.
Another notable achievement came from Symington Family Estates who were the highest climber on the list, moving from 22nd place in 2024 to 16th place in 2025.
The other wineries from the Fells portfolio that featured included Familia Torres, who have previously held the No.1 spot for a record 8 years, E Guigal, which climbed 3 places in the table, Yalumba, which climbed an impressive 9 places, and Royal Tokaji.
Established in 1967, Drinks International is one of the most trusted and respected global drinks journals, providing news, analysis, comment and research on global markets, brands and drinks.
The Top 50 Most Admired Wines competition is judged by a 100-strong panel comprising of wine buyers, sommeliers, Master of Wines, wine bar owners, writers, influencers and educators, none of which are affiliated with any wine brand to ensure bias-free judging.
The criteria on which the judges base their decisions is based on the quality and consistency of the wines, the quality to price ratio, and factors such as sustainability and social and corporate responsibility.
