Kings of the Hill – meet Maison Louis Latour

When it comes to celebrating the extraordinary impact of terroir on wine, Burgundy reigns supreme.

There’s barely an inch of that storied region that hasn’t been studied, compared … and transformed into its own unique expression of wine.

So much to learn, discover and enjoy – but with so much breadth and diversity, it helps to have a guide who knows the region like the back of their hand.

Which is why we’re so excited to have joined forces with Maison Louis Latour.

From their home in Aloxe-Corton, by the world-famous hill of Corton, home to some of Burgundy’s greatest wines, Maison Louis Latour have nurtured stunning Burgundy since 1797.

Over more than 200 years, they’ve grown to hold the biggest parcels of vines on that famous hill. But far from being confined to their home village, the domine includes the largest collection of Grand Cru vineyards in Côte d’Or.

The breath of their range is sensational. From 100-point Grand Crus in both red and white, to superb-value wines like their famous Mâcon-Lugny, which prove that bargains can still be found in the region, they have sensational bottles right across the price spectrum.

Each wine is typified by the Maison’s signature elegant style, reflective of its vineyard and appellation of origin and sensitively handled in the winery to best express the character of the fruit and terroir.

The wines land with us in October – we’re counting the days – and we’re delighted to bring this stellar Maison’s wines to the glasses of Burgundy lovers in the UK.
