Join us at this year’s Big Fortified Tasting

Port and Madeira and Sherry, oh my! (Not to mention Marsala as well).

We are (we think, justifiably) immensely proud of the whole Fells Portfolio.

We believe it collectively comprises the finest collection of premium, family-owned wineries under one umbrella in the UK.

But if there’s one area where there’s absolutely no question about it, it’s fortifieds.

Thanks, particularly, to our relationship with Symington Family Estates, there’s simply no better selection around.

So when an event comes along dedicated entirely to fortified wine … well you can bet that we’ll be there.

An unmissable event … a world class lineup

The Big Fortified Tasting is one of our favourite events in the calendar.

Held at London’s IET – a venue close to our heart, since it has also hosted the last several Fells Portfolio Tastings, it’s your chance to taste your way through the finest fortifieds in the UK … and celebrate this special category as it deserves.

As you’d expect, we’re going big.

We don’t want to give too many spoilers, but you can expect the likes of a 1994 Vintage Port side-by-side between Dow’s, Graham’s and Warres … 40 Year Old Tawny … 1965 Sercial Madeira from Blandy’s and 1998 Marsala from Pellegrino … speciality En Rama offerings and 60 Year Old Single Butt Amontillado from Barbadillo.

In short: if fortified wine is your thing, this is a ‘cancel anything else in the diary and get down there now’ event.

Register for your place before tomorrow!

This year’s tasting is held on Monday 23rd March, and it’s free to Press and Trade (most of you reading this, we’re guessing).

A note of urgency though – registration for this event ends on 19th March – that’s tomorrow.

You know what to do. Sign up here, and we’ll see you on Monday with a good few bottles of some absurdly-well-aged fortified brilliance.
