A Familia Torres Time Capsule tasting
Last week we gathered a roomful of the great and the good of the wine trade at Arros QD for a remarkable runthrough of the Familia Torres Antologia collection, ably hosted by Brenda Sanchez.
These are the Torres Family’s iconic wines, including Milmanda, Reserva Real, Grans Muralles and, of course, Mas La Plana. An exciting enough lineup in and of itself … but for this tasting the current releases were augmented by library vintages from the Torres Family’s private collection, given years of patient ageing in perfect conditions.
A fascinating study in the effects of time as well as the stellar terroirs and meticulous approach behind these iconic bottles. Thanks so much to all who joined us, as well as wine MC extraordinaire Brenda, Arros QD and, of course, the Torres family themselves for making it possible.
