The most awarded and recognised Semillon from the Hunter Valley. Tyrrell’s Winemakers Selection Vat 1 Hunter Valley Semillon is sourced from two of the best blocks of semillon which have light, sandy, well drained soils. Vines planted on their own roots and dry grown. The oldest material being planted in 1923. An inviting nose of citrus and a palate that is the perfect mid-point between power and elegance. The signature Vat 1 fruit power is balanced by its delicate yet crisp acid profile, resulting in a seamless wine with a clean finish. Poised to enjoy a long life in the cellar.
