Join us for the ultimate Guigal tasting
How often can you say you’ve tasted the inaugural vintage of a genuine wine icon?
After all – how often is it possible to predict that a wine will achieve truly iconic status from its very first vintage?
But if there’s one wine that we can predict with confidence will realise exactly that, it’s Guigal’s ‘La Reynarde’.
And – if you’re in the press and trade – you can taste the first ever vintage on 9th June (if you sign up quickly).
It is the star of a tasting of the full Guigal and Château de Nalys ranges (including all four of the ‘LaLas’) to be held at Aki Restaurant, 1 Cavendish Square, London, W1G 0LA from 10am-4pm on the 9th.

The Fourth LaLa
Few wines anywhere – and arguably no others in the Rhône – carry the same weight of reverence as Guigal’s so called ‘LaLas’.
A trio – now, at last, a quartet – of single vineyards in Côte Rôtie, La Landonne, La Mouline and La Turque, they carry not only a history of exceptional-to-perfect scores vintage after vintage from the world’s great critics, but in no small part built the modern reputation of the whole Côte-Rôtie appellation.
As of this year, La Reynarde joins the ensemble. Planted from 2010 to commemorate the birth of Philippe Guigal’s twin sons (La Landonne was planted for Philippe’s own birth) its inaugural vintage is the exceptional 2022.
Few, if any, wines arrive with this weight of expectation – but those fortunate enough to have had an advance taste of La Reynarde are unanimous that it lives up to its auspicious stablemates.

Taste them all – with the full Guigal and Château de Nalys ranges
The opportunity to taste Reynarde alone is one that should have any wine lover salivating.
But at this tasting, you can enjoy it beside not only La Landonne, La Mouline and La Turque – but every other wine in the Guigal range, as well as from their Châteauneuf-du-Pape estate, Château de Nalys.
Across every tier and appellation, these are near-universally renowned as the standard bearers in the Rhône Valley. It is not, in short, a tasting to miss.
To repeat: 9th June, Aki Restaurant, 10am-4pm.
