James Steps Up to the Challenge
James Montague recenty walked 200 miles across some of the most beautiful scenery this country has to offer, in aid of The Benevolent, the Drinks Industry charity. The walk took him through the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, the Vale of Mowbray, the Cleveland Hills, and the Yorkshire Moors.
The equivalent of walking the entire length of the M1, the walk is rarely completed in one go. Sensible walkers opt to do it in occasional stages over a long period, but not our intrepid James! He walked the entire length in one go, without any outside support, carrying all his own gear on his back - impressive stuff for a man who turns fifty this year.
So please donate now. All donations, large or small, are very much appreciated, and needed. Every penny counts - James hopes to raise £2,000 for the charity, with his running total now standing at £1380.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and completely secure. Please see www.justgiving.com/james-montague for more details.
